​Signs Your Pet May Need Emergency Care


Pale gums
Rapid or difficulty breathing
Weak or rapid pulse
Change in body temperature
Difficulty standing
Apparent paralysis
Loss of consciousness
Seizures
Excessive bleeding
Inability to urinate or defacate for more than 24 hours
Bleeding from the mouth, nose, ears, or anus  
Choking
Eye Injuries
Heatstroke
Difficulties giving birth 
If you suspect or know your pet has eaten something poisonous (such as antifreeze, xylitol, chocolate, rodent poison, etc.)
Refusal to drink for more than 24 hours
Fractured bones, severe lameness or inability to move 
Hit by a vehicle, attacked or fallen from a large height ​
