Whether your pet is having a routine spay or neuter or a more advanced procedure, our team is committed to providing safe, compassionate, and individualized care every step of the way. Your pet's safety and comfort are our highest priorities.

We are proud to provide full service surgical care:

• A licensed veterinary technician dedicated to monitoring your pet throughout anesthesia and recovery.
• A dedicated veterinary assistant assigned to your pet before, during, and after their procedure.
• Pre-anesthetic bloodwork to help ensure anesthesia is safe and to tailor medications to your pet's individual needs.
• A limited daily surgery schedule so every patient receives personalized attention, careful monitoring, and plenty of recovery time.

These standards of care have helped us maintain excellent surgical and anesthetic outcomes while serving our community for decades.

What to Expect During Surgery

Every surgical procedure includes:

• Comprehensive pre-surgical physical examination
• Pre-anesthetic blood testing
• Individualized anesthesia and pain management
• Intravenous (IV) catheter placement and fluid therapy (for most procedures)
• Injectable anesthetic induction followed by gas anesthesia
• Endotracheal intubation to protect your pet's airway
• Continuous monitoring of heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, body temperature, and anesthesia by a licensed veterinary technician
• Advanced surgical techniques and sterilization protocols
• Body temperature support throughout the procedure
• Therapeutic laser treatment after surgery, when appropriate, to promote healing and comfort
• Careful post-operative monitoring until your pet is fully awake
• Detailed home care instructions
• A courtesy follow-up call after surgery to check on your pet's recovery​

Our surgical services include, but are not limited to:

• Cystotomy (bladder stone removal)
• Exploratory surgery and foreign body removal
• Prophylactic gastropexy for large-breed dogs
• Cranial cruciate ligament stabilization on small dogs only
• Luxating patella repair (small dogs)
• Cherry eye repair
• Dental prophylaxis (professional dental cleaning and oral surgery)

​Due to the time and preparation required for surgical procedures, a $75.00 cancellation fee will apply to any surgery canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice.
